So cute, so addictive.

And a neat book meme stolen from [livejournal.com profile] ibarahime:

You are a character in Fahrenheit 451. Which book would you choose to memorize to preserve it from the fire?
If I was by myself, I think either Catch-22 or Earth Abides. Not sure why, those are just what came to mind. Otherwise, I'd probably get a group together to memorize the Lord of the Rings.

Have you ever had a crush on a fictional character?
Um, of course not . . . >.>
Actually, the answer is more like, "All the time." Silk (from David Eddings' Belgariad and Malloreon) and George Cooper (from Tamora Pierce's Tortall) are pretty long-abiding crushes. ... Oh wait, "fictional" doesn't limit it to books, does it? In that case there are far too many to count. @_@

The last book you bought is:
Uh, I bought all my textbooks this term all at once:
Atmospheric Chemistry and Physics (Seinfeld and Pandis)
Carolingian Chronicles
Saga of the Volsungs
Vinland Sagas
King Harald's Saga
Egil's Saga
Beowulf
Humanity: A Moral History of the 20th Century
Practical Ethics
Leviathan
Groundwork of the Metaphysics of Morals

The last book you read:
For class: Saga of the Volsungs.
For leisure: The Tin Woodman of Oz.

What are you currently reading?
For class: Carolingian Chronicles and Groundwork of the Metaphysics of Morals.
For leisure: The Magic of Oz.

Five books you would take to a deserted island:
The four books of the Hyperion Cantos (Hyperion, Fall of Hyperion, Endymion, Rise of Endymion), and, uh, some kind of poetry anthology, I guess.

^_^ You're reading the Oz series!!! I love those books!! My Mom would also spend forever collecting any nice old copies of them whenever she visited a used book store.

Yeah, the Oz series follows in my list of public domain books I've been meaning to read that I can load onto my PocketPC. I finished Sherlock Holmes and started with Oz while I was in Japan... I tend to finish a book or two during breaks and then drag through a single book during school, which is why I'm still reading them. ^^;;
