Yay LotR parodies, especially when they're inspired by The Editing Room:

Favorite lines:

BILBO
Now, I will make an insulting speech that no one will understand because you can barely add fractions. God, I’m clever.

The EXCESSIVELY CREEPY BLACK RIDERS go off looking for someone named SHIRE in the land of BAGGINS.

TT

GRIMA WORMTOUNGE [sic]
I have the most blatantly evil name ever, and I look like Severus Snape on crack.

SOLDIERS OF AN INDETERMINATE RACE WHO DRESS LIKE SHREDDER
Huh, a rock with a pack. Go figure.

ELROND
Arwen, I want you to leave. And, maybe pick a language and stick with it.

More FIGHTING. LEGOLAS invents skateboarding.

RotK

SMEAGOL/GOLLUM
We have arrived at the Secret Stairs. Right outside of Minas Morgul. No one has ever walked by, looked up and thought, “Hey, stairs.”

MEANWHILE: FRODO and SAM arrive at the THIRD BOOK.

THE RING
I attack you with invisible gnats! Invisible gnats! I am soooo bad!

[No idea where that is in the movie, but it just reads so funny. ^^;;]

Re: excessively creepy black riders

They lost their creep factor by the third movie. It was a little disappointing. I thought their main weapon was supposed to be fear...although Witch-King's mace is pretty badass, but it seemed like he turned off the "creepy" mode and just used his "I'm tall, dressed in black, and have a big weapon and fate behind me" mode.

As far as I'm concerned, they started losing creep factor the moment they went clunk! instead of *glide* in the first movie. They are way too dense to be wraiths, though I love the scenes where they're all silent. But yeah, definitely a shift towards brute force as the movies went on. -_-;

For some reason, the line that makes me laugh the most is "The Secret Stair. No one has ever looked up and said 'hey, stairs.'" Also the "Denethor Insanity Meter". Heh.

I think I was most amused by the Ringwraiths trying to find a guy named Shire. I'm just weird. ^^;;

But the "hey, stairs" thing is one of those places in the movie when you wonder just how convincing they're trying to be. Along with the, "hey, it's a cloak-textured rock". -_-;;
