I had this conversation with my dad earlier tonight:

ME: Are you the one who added Twilight to the Netflix queue?
HIM: Yes.
ME: Um...
HIM: What? Wasn't it a pretty big hit?
ME: Yes, among teenage girls.

Poll to the audience: If he goes through with it, should I watch it, too?

I watched it under similar circumstances (free Friday night movies on campus) and I have to say, much scorn as I have for the books, I didn't hate it. There were some parts that were extremely stupid, and the main character has an irritating inability to not sigh after every single word she says, but besides that it was fine, nothing to go through the trouble to not-watch.
