Okay, I apparently cannot handle spending all afternoon living in the library. I mean, it's probably greatly increased my productivity compared to being at home, but I feel so antsy and keep wondering, "Is it over yet?" instead of "Am I done with my reading yet?" which is not good. With a little less than an hour before the Q&A/training session that I'm sticking around for, I'm worried that I'll be too fidgety by then to sit through it. -_-;;

I want my naptime! :(

[Last Thursday I was stuck in the library for about 2.5 hours, compared to today's 5 or so, and I did end up spending much of that nodding off while trying to finish reading for the class I had immediately afterwards. But I doubt that's as efficient as just sleeping and then reading when I'm better rested. Although, I seem to have an infinite capacity for sleep, so maybe not.]

Don't worry, all that means is that you're normal. :)

You're still better off than me, by the way. I don't think I've gone to study in the library for half a year now...

I don't think I've studied. Ever.

I wouldn't call it studying; it's just doing homework. Stupid Federal Rules of Appellate Procedure. And the only reason I work in the library is because I have nowhere else to go. If I lived on campus and/or had classes scattered through different buildings like I did at Tech, I'd probably just go back to my room. But since I'm always at the law school, where else am I going to go between classes? Fortunately, Crown is a nice environment.

Crown is definitely regarded as one of the best libraries on campus, but it's human to get bored of the same thing over and over again. My first-year roommate had this interesting habit of trying out each of Stanford's libraries at least once; I've yet to give that a shot myself, but it sounds like you couldn't get bored that way. I've also heard the Alumni Center is a great place to study, but I can't ever manage to drag my lazy ass there.
