I should've stayed in Hawaii.
Jan. 13th, 2007 12:14 amDear weather,
I'd like to take a moment to remind you that this is California. I can understand temperatures that flirt with freezing -- it is winter, after all. But mid-twenties? This is unacceptable.
I have never had a day when one layer of long sleeves wasn't sufficient to avoid bone-chilling cold, even though I might prefer more layers as a matter of comfort. That was not the case today, as I hurried to class this morning, thinking I was going to be late, only to find out that class was canceled because our professor had a flu, possibly caused by cold weather. (Okay, so the last part probably isn't your fault. But I'm going to complain about it anyway.)
I like it when my fingers, either after scraping ice off the windshield or walking around outside, do not ache while I'm driving, as the circulation returns.
So, all this business about a "cold snap"? Please get over it.
kthxbye
