Graduation!

I've seen lots of posts on my friends list from alumni congratulating the Class of 2006, but I've yet to see any of our class post since Commencement, so I guess I'll be the first.

WE DID IT! WE'RE DONE!

(David Krumholtz, who plays Charlie in Numb3rs, came to our graduation, and Irene and I managed to get a picture with him. It was a rather rushed picture, if you can't tell. My dad's response was, "Well, David looks good." Well, of course, he's an actor. I like how there's a tree sprouting from his back.)

Awesome picture, I'm jealous :-) I also love Numb3rs though and have been watching it all year (now that I kinda watch TV).

Awesome! Wasn't David Krumholtz also the guy who played "Mr. Universe" in Serenity? And you got him at your graduation! Dude, all we get is Tom Brokaw, and no guarantee of a picture with him. :P

Pssh. It hardly makes up for having David Baltimore as our speaker. >_< [Baltimore is our president, who's stepping down this year. It kind of sucks to have someone from Caltech as the speaker, even more when he's rather viewed as an enemy to student life.] I mean, it wasn't too bad, but I found his speech terribly cliche, and nothing to compare with Sandra Tsing Loh, who we had 1-2 years ago.

I'm not really sure what happened with our Commencement speaker search this year. It's like, they tried a whole bunch of people, including more popular professors, and a bunch of famous people (including Condoleeza Rice, apparently), and we ended up with Baltimore? *sigh*
