To make it easier for you, since I personally tend to find interest lists hard to look at, here are a few suggested fandoms:
Harry Potter
Lord of the Rings (maybe specify movie or books)
Tamora Pierce (either Lioness or Immortals)
CLAMP (mostly just X or CCS)
Fushigi Yuugi
Final Fantasy (4, 5, 6, 8, 9, 10)
Slayers
Obviously I'm familiar with a lot more fandoms, but the rest of them are probably obscure enough such that if you like them, you probably already know I like them, too.

Date: 2005-02-08 07:04 pm (UTC)So... I have read a fic that focuses on Quistis and Xu, though not romantically, but I don't remember Xu very well from the game. I'll always see Quistis as an ice queen, though, so I can't see anything happening between her and Xu. I enjoy the idea that they're close friends and work well together as a team, but I tend to dislike it when fandoms nudge such relationships into something more. For a random, probably inappropriate analogy, I could see them as similar to Kirika and Mireille.
Sorry to disappoint you if you wanted, um, "literature". You should go make your own (http://spiderflower.pyrefly.ca/ff8-easysteps.html), because it's funny. Braaaaains. XD Also I would recommend this fic (http://www.fanfiction.net/s/1255252/1/), because the author is amazing, although it's straight action so far.
