I really should go to bed, but I think I overshot my Coke dosage during the 103 final, so I'm still a bit too awake to crawl into bed. So I guess I'll do that favorite characters meme thing. You know, the one where I list my favorite characters from all of my fandoms and you tell me the common thread based on the ones you're familiar with. Not that I really need help in figuring it out, especially considering how much I like to overanalyze myself about these things, but hey, I can't resist an opportunity to be a fangirl. Actually, it might be more interesting for the both of us if you try to spot the exceptions.


I'll try to add more if I think of them, because I'm notoriously forgetful the moment I'm asked to make a list. Also, these are only series that have characters about whom I feel reasonably strongly. So even though a series isn't listed doesn't mean I'm not a rabid fangirl of it. (Notable exclusions would include such series as Cowboy Bebop and Final Fantasy VI.)

Hm, and I think I'll underline the guys I really die for. You should at least be able to figure out that trend fairly easily. ^.^

It's so weird, I always think of us as having so many fandoms in common, but really it's only the pretty ubiquitous ones like LOTR and HP. And I don't watch even close to as much anime or play nearly as many games as you do. Oh well, I can live with that.

Yeah, I had the same idea that we have more fandoms in common. Maybe it's just the general appreciation for fantasy and sci-fi. And the dork pop culture, like your Matrix icon. :P

I have read Ender's Game now, though! I am not surprised that he and Alai are your favorites. Alai is so the Faramir of Ender's world. My favorite character is probably Bean or Petra, though I quite like Ender himself, too.
