A few weeks ago, I attended a Watson Lecture on consciousness. They talked about processes called "zombie agents" that bypass conscious thought: breating and blinking, of course, but also the way your hand scales as you reach to pick something up. Apparently Caltech is training me to be able to get up, slide out of bed onto my dresser, which is to the left when I sit on the bed, step down onto my chair, which is quite a bit lower, step down onto the floor, turn off my alarm clock, and go back to sleep, all without ever waking up.

I can't remember when was the last time I ate lunch.

Mmm... well, you'll get to eat lunch tomorrow in Japanese, anyway, right? ^^;
Only a little over a week before we can take a break, yay=D

Ah, yes. We in the Anderson household have been known to accomplish similar feats in our sleep.

Poor you. Do not make yourself sick or anything.

Supposedly, researchers found that students who went to bed early and got up early to work had a whole .4 higher GPA than students who stayed up late and slept in. For every hour of sleeping in, the GPA suffered another .1.

Heard this from a friend, so I wouldn't take it so very seriously, but if it's true it certainly explains my GPA.
