Little Tokyo haul.
Nov. 15th, 2004 12:23 amClub trip to Little Tokyo today. Never realized how good a Christmas shopping opportunity it made. Now I have two fewer people to worry about.
Anyway, for myself, I decided to start collecting the reissued Sailor Moon manga. Mainly because the covers are just so pretty. ^_^;; It's strange that they don't use much kanji, though. Disorienting to see so much hiragana.
We went to Anime Jungle, which has a lot of cool rare stuff, but not generally from cool rare series. So last year I got some neat Hunter x Hunter stuff like pencilboards and notebooks. This year apparently my series of choice was Slayers, and more specifically, stuff with Xelloss. I was tempted to get the notebook that said Lina's specialty was "drug slave", though. Plus it had the "villains have no rights" line. In the end, I got a little Xelloss magnet (in the "sore wa himitsu desu" pose, of course), and a roll stamp that prints ひ・み・つ and then a chibi Xelloss (again in the "sore wa himitsu desu" pose). I don't have a stamp pad, though.
And then I have the awesomest door sign ever. It's got the chibi good guys from Try on one side, and it says ノックしてね (please knock). On the other side is a somewhat scowling Xelloss (but with one eye open!) and it says 行き先は秘密です (where I went was a secret) across the top and 外出中 (away) at the bottom. ^_^v I wish I had something to hang it on.
