The internet cafe I'm at is playing "Have You Never Been Mellow". o.O Took me a while to recognize it, too.

Along the same lines, there's this thing on TV at 6:55am on weekdays -- my signal to finish breakfast and leave for the station -- that surveys fashion trends or something. (Too fast paced for me to comprehend.) But they play a lot of DDR songs. Once it was "Butterfly", and once "If You Were Here". Haven't seen it as much lately because no one watches TV in the morning anymore.

Anyhow, the reason I started updating was to say:

*DROOL*

I am dissatisfied with the MuVo I jacked from my sister, even though I had wanted one for so long. The downfalls are as follows: crappy battery life on AAAs (it went from barely three bars out of three to only one in about 45 minutes); not enough buttons (not that I want a really cluttered layout, but it's really annoying to set up Hold via the menu); compared to newer players, 128mb is tiny. Although I do like the fact that it's just a USB drive, so I can put pictures (and fanfics, ahem) on it to transport.

Ah, there's nothing like an hour at Yodobashi Camera to fill me with electronics lust.

Well, as long as it doesn't blow up with poor-quality batteries, I can always get really cheap ones at the 100 yen store. 9_9

The battery does tend to "recover" somewhat between uses. My digital camera is like that, too. I've been taking too many risks with not charging and then having it die in the middle of a parade. -.-;;

I meant plastic cases that let you use the camera underwater, hence the "in theory". I don't think I'd really trust it to keep my camera dry, not that they have one for my model anyhow, probably.

The risk with cheap batteries is that they tend to leak. I wouldn't leave them in for a long time (or you'll get something like my maglight that doesn't open).

If the batteries recover, it might be that they are being drained too fast. Try some Ni-MH.

Most of the good underwater cases cost about the same as a camera...
