Midterms is this weekend, meaning it's even more important not to waste time, but also more important to relax and not freak out in between. In light of the latter, I will probably be watching more anime.

I finished Maria-sama ga Miteru. Like others have said, it didn't end very dramatically, but it was still a nice ending. I liked how they showed the development in all of the relationships; it was quite sweet. Still not quite sure how I feel about Sachiko and Yumi -- they are just so awkward sometimes -- but Rei and Yoshino were cute, and Shimako and Rosa Gigantea were interesting. Perhaps a bit strong on the shoujo-ai at the end, but nowhere near enough to make but the worst homophobes uncomfortable.

Speaking of homophobes, a certain someone has compared Kyou Kara Maou! to Gravitation, which is the most ridiculous thing I've ever heard of. A fantasy, albeit with a lot of pretty boys, versus the series that ended the first episode (IIRC) with a kiss in the elevator? Riiight. It's true that Conrad and Yuuri are very cute together, but I think Conrad is much more paternal than anything else -- not that some fangirls wouldn't take it and run anyhow. Yuuri is definitely not the type to fit into a shounen-ai relationship. (Definitely not a seme, but not the type to stand for being uke.) He's just too skeptical. I do like that about him, though, and also his level-headed attitude about involving innocents and his loyalty to his mother. He just seems like a normal, reasonable guy, not as clueless perhaps as I'd first thought. And his reactions are just funny. I loved the preview where he said, "So does holding a spork in your mouth mean 'I love you' or something?" XD

Then there's Mahou Shoujo-tai, which is still holding my interest. I'm impressed by how much information they've conveyed about the world, in two ten minute episodes, without overbearing exposition. On the other hand, the amount the story moves in ten minutes is a point of frustration with me. The endings are very abrupt and choppy, not really dramatic enough to be an ending, but about open-ended enough to be an eyecatch, which is what they would be if the episodes were normal length. Argh. But it seems like we're getting to where the premise of the series is set up, and we'll start to see the three main characters really interacting and "doing their thing" soon, I hope.

I think I'm about done surveying potential series. I might still take a look at Aishiteru ze, Baby! and Sensei no Ojikan. Other than that, it's just following up on Madlax. Lunar released another episode of Daphne in the Brilliant Blue, and it looks like I'll be able to get back into watching that again if they keep it up. And, of course, still need to finish PLANETES...

Aishiteruze Baby is obscenely cute. It makes me feel diabetic dirty on the inside. Stay away if you are easily sugared creeped out.

Watch watch watch watch watch watch watch watch Aishiteruze Baby. It's so cuuuute. The amazing twelve-year-old Satsuki is awesome. *nods* Kono Mini is ok... but my anime taste is all around the place. XD I think the only reason I continued was because Ryou is cool. Though he reminds me of Yukito. Sensei no Ojikan was recommended to me and I've still be watching Full Metal Alchemist. FMA doesn't get the attention it deserves.

What do you mean FMA doesn't get the attention it deserves?! It's the only series that gets leechers and seeds in the mid-thousands on zero day.

Whereas I watch unknown series with only one group doing them, and no one cares, like Daphne.

Ah, correction. Naruto also gets as many people on BT, perhaps more.
