Choose twelve of your original characters in any particular order. (NO PEEKING AT THE QUESTIONS AT THIS STAGE!) Then, answer the questions that follow and don’t forget to tag a couple of people when you’re finished.
I wasn't sure I even had 12 original characters. Turns out I do, but only if you settle for not being able to read about most of them as of yet.
1. Iloraen - Elf princess from The Point at Infinity (not yet fit for public consumption). She specializes in magic cast by drawing symbols and is very protective of her brother, Epherus.
2. Cadmus - Tragic hero of the Tapestry series (taken down indefinitely for revision). He runs away from home to learn magic so that he won't be a burden on his family.
3. Nakagawa Shizue - First introducted Terran Seishi in Twixt Earth and Sky, my post-series Fushigi Yuugi fic. A Japanese schoolgirl who's not all that happy about having to save the world.
4. Jervaine - One of the main characters of The Point at Infinity. He's a cleric, among other things. His true identity is a major spoiler. :P
5. Erif Shadow - One of the main characters of Field of Unicorns, the sequel to Tapestry. At this stage of developing his character, he's still of the "support pretty boy with absolutely no character defects" mold. ^^;;
6. Jonathan Hollande - Another Terran Seishi from Twixt Earth and Sky, first introduced in Chapter 3. He's a computer programmer and a big dork.
7. Andrew Sorenson - The (very competent and much beloved) "benign dictator" of a fictional island in the Pacific called Arisova.
8. Ara Lendel - The main character of Elysium Poison, one of my sci-fi stories. She's a naturalist recruited to resume research on Earth II, a sort of Noah's Ark planet of Earth species.
9. Clarisse Morianis - An assassin hired to kill Andrew Sorenson in the Arisova series. She kicks much ass . . . or will, someday... ^^;;
10. Oralis - Another main character from The Point at Infinity. He's a swordsman who traveled to another world to save his love.
11. Dominique Evelyn DeSay - The first log-keeper in The Planets (on my site), a sci-fi story about kids from a colony on the sun sent as diplomats to the other planets and also the only series I've ever written in first person. Probably something of a Mary Sue.
12. Quethiril - A Pokémon language researcher featured in several fics, including "All in the Family" (old and crappy, don't read) and "The Pleasure Principle" (on my site). Also somewhat Mary Sue, but that was originally the point.
( The questions. )
As a matter of policy, I don't usually tag people; plus I'm not sure who else on my flist writes, so those of you who would like to, consider yourselves tagged, and those of you who wouldn't, don't.
And now, back to citechecking. x_x
