School dreams.

This is exactly the dream I always have. The "Wait, I didn't know we had something due... have I even been coming to this class? Am I even in this class?" dream. A lot of times the classes are high school classes, which make me feel dumb when I wake up. Sometimes the classes are actually law school classes, which make me feel panicked when I wake up, until I've gone through the mental checklist and confirmed that, yes, I have enough units to graduate, and, yes, I am current in all of them, and, no, there's nothing I needed to turn in yesterday.

Anyway, I just had to share because the comic was awesome. I haven't actually had the dream in the past few days, since it's spring break. (Woo!) I've been reading too much Incarnations of Immortality, so all my dreams lately have been drawing from that.

Then again, I should start studying for the Multistate Bar Exam -- for which for some reason we get the materials in March, even though people always say don't think about the Bar until you've graduated -- so maybe I'll go back to the old "in a blinding flash of insight everything makes complete sense until you wake up and can't remember" dreams. I still remember having the one about the Federalists and Anti-Federalists while taking AP U.S. History. I guess that goes to show how frustrating they are.

The only school dream I have is "Oh god I have a final/project due tomorrow and I never did anything all semester. Oh god I overslept/fell into a time warp and it's already tomorrow. Oh god I have 15 minutes to get there but I'm delayed/putting off leaving. Oh god I'm going to be 20 minutes late. Oh god it's taking forever to walk there. Oh god I might still make it before the class/test ends." But I rarely get stressed out enough to have that dream anymore, thank goodness.

However yesterday I did have a dream about attending a funeral for a distant Weasley relative and ended up duking it out against Death Eaters which was kind of stressful but also kind of awesome.

I often have that dream, but somehow it's always about a lab class I never showed up for and I realize I have to do all the experiments in two days.

I still dream about Caltech classes too. I think that starting next term, those will stop and I will begin to have dreams about missing my TA lab section.

Also, I a few days ago I decided to quit Japanese class this term. That night, I had a dream in which every Japanese teacher I have ever looked at me very sadly.
