do they ever do more hiroki/nowaki stuff? the teacher/australian kid is cute but not really interesting to me =( i guess i have a thing for the kouyuu-types ^_^

The first season got to about volume 5 of the manga. It alternates between the three couples the same way. I really like Miyagi, so I hope he and the kid as a couple get more interesting. The last they showed of Hiroki/Nowaki was Nowaki moving in.
I think they originally planned 1 season of 24 episodes, but for some reason decided to do only 12 and then wait and see. Apparently they liked what they saw, so they are going to have the remaining 12. There are 10 volumes of manga currently out, and given the pace, I guess they will catch up in the anime.
