I always suck at titles.

I will make this skin as soon as I name it. Suggestions?

I have some ideas as to what I'd like the title to evoke, but I'm not finding anything appropriate. Maybe I'm being too locked into this name-skins-after-songs thing, after I was finally converted.
For those who recognize the image: yes, I just spent several hours editing out the godawful red background. Doesn't the color scheme look so much more Geass-y now? C/Lulu OTP SQUEE.

Date: 2008-08-07 04:57 pm (UTC)What should the title convey? Should it be more dark or more mysterious? Or both? Because I think I have a few suggestions... *eyes metal- and world-music-folders*
BTW, I love the new background for C.C. and Lulu. I hated the red one! :D

C.C./Lulu FTW.

Date: 2008-08-08 04:33 pm (UTC)I love Greek titles because basically everything sounds mysterious, even if it actually isn't. There are not enough people speaking Greek out there to tell the difference.
To mystiko - this is a no-brainer. It also means 'the secret' in Greek and is the name of a song by Zante Dilemma, a Greek rock band.
Kardia - is Greek and means 'heart' as well as 'darling' (and thus appears in about 80% of Greek lyrics). Maybe not ambivalent enough for C.C./Lulu ^^;;
Monos mou - Greek for 'alone/by myself' - might be somewhat fitting because both, C.C. and Lulu are together yet always alone. It is also a song by Greek pop singer Antonis Remos.
Hard rock/metal bands also tend to use great titles for their songs. Particularly if they're from Finland (haha, I love Finnish hard rock bands and their great, cheesy song titles *lol*).
'Our Solemn Hour' is a song-name by hard rock band Within Temptation.
'The Final Sacrifice' is the name of a song by some German metal band whose name I forgot. Lulu looks like he might have sacrificed something/someone important prior to the scene...
There are actually several song titles by Finnish hard rock band HIM that'd fit - 'Funeral of Hearts', 'The Sacrament' or 'And Love Said No'
There is a song called 'Wings of Despair' by German metal band Kamelot.
'Mystic and Divine' is the name of a song by Luca Turilli, an Italian hard rock musician.
Nightwish, another Finnish metal band has great names for songs that'd fit such as 'Bare Grace Misery', 'Feel For You' or 'Ghost Love Score'.
Hm... is this enough? I still have tons of song titles. If you consider something but need to hear the song first, I can upload it for you ^^;;
(does it show that I have summer holidays and too much time on my hands? *lol*)

kanawanu koi wo suru you ni
hikari e to izanawarete
we were surely born from the arms of darkness
as if bearing a love that can never be realized
we are drawn towards the light
