elwenWatching last 5 episodes of Kanon --> empty tissue box* --> puffy eyes tomorrow. D:
I guess it had to be done sometime.
It was definitely much better than the original. I felt like there were no changes at first -- I'm sure there were, just not when compared to the broad brushstrokes I remembered -- but after a while I could tell there was more depth to what they were showing. And! The girls I used to find annoying were less so. I might have even completely forgiven Shiori if she hadn't been so clingy of Yuuichi.
So with this adding to my liking of Kanon, and with my bitterness about the canon ending of CLANNAD, the two shows might almost balance out now. (Well, no. Because CLANNAD still has Okiayu Ryoutarou.)
Maybe I should tackle Air now. Haha.
But, dammit, Kanon should not be allowed to have a more satisfying ending than CLANNAD. XO *contines to pretend the CLANNAD game, movie, and new season don't exist*
