Marimite licensed!
Mar. 6th, 2008 03:49 pmRightStuf has licensed Maria-sama ga Miteru and will be releasing each season as sub-only boxsets. According to AnimeOnDVD, they'll include the "Maria-sama ni wa Naisho" specials, too. If so, it will be exactly what I want (subs, specials, boxset) without anything I don't want (dub, limited edition crap, collecting disc by disc). Good show, RightStuf.

Date: 2008-03-12 09:06 pm (UTC)Marimite is in far more of a niche market -- like many of RightStuf's shows. Though I've never quite figured out what it's exact audience is. It's very shoujo-y, being about friendships at an all-girls school, but it has vaguely yuri undertones, which seems to attract a male audience, too.
