Random interlude.
Jul. 26th, 2007 12:38 amUgh, I should so be in bed. I'm totally going to end up being sleep-deprived at my interviews on Saturday, which would suck. But . . . well, I'm sure you can guess why I'm still up, and I just had to post and say:
Dude, I never knew I shared my birthday with James Potter.
Unfortunately, there'll probably be no more of the book for me until I get back Saturday night. Tomorrow is reserved for killing trees (read: printing ten copies each of resume, writing sample, references, and transcripts). Then Friday I really do need to make myself sleep properly.
I'm sure I won't feel so bad tomorrow. For some reason when I'm not holding the book, I get this strange reluctance to go back, an unwillingness to find out what happens and realize that it's all over. Once I start reading, of course, I have trouble stopping, but . . . well, I'm the sentimental type who doesn't want things to end. (Wow, how very un-J of me.)
Yeah, I'm rambling now. G'night.

Date: 2007-07-26 04:49 pm (UTC)I have that too! If it helps, she's planning an encyclopedia to go over everything she couldn't cover in the books, and said she plans to write more in this universe, so...it's not an end? I thought the end was worth it, though, and it was nice to be finished in time to gush about it with people who were still willing to.
