Ugh, I should so be in bed. I'm totally going to end up being sleep-deprived at my interviews on Saturday, which would suck. But . . . well, I'm sure you can guess why I'm still up, and I just had to post and say:

Dude, I never knew I shared my birthday with James Potter.

Unfortunately, there'll probably be no more of the book for me until I get back Saturday night. Tomorrow is reserved for killing trees (read: printing ten copies each of resume, writing sample, references, and transcripts). Then Friday I really do need to make myself sleep properly.

I'm sure I won't feel so bad tomorrow. For some reason when I'm not holding the book, I get this strange reluctance to go back, an unwillingness to find out what happens and realize that it's all over. Once I start reading, of course, I have trouble stopping, but . . . well, I'm the sentimental type who doesn't want things to end. (Wow, how very un-J of me.)

Yeah, I'm rambling now. G'night.

icon battle!

I have that too! If it helps, she's planning an encyclopedia to go over everything she couldn't cover in the books, and said she plans to write more in this universe, so...it's not an end? I thought the end was worth it, though, and it was nice to be finished in time to gush about it with people who were still willing to.

I know, I got close to the end last night and realized that I would just have to stay up and finish it or else lose sleep wondering what would happen next. So yeah...right there with you. *yawn*

When I read my HP books, I was like a robot, reading it non-stop. And when I got the 3rd book, it was a period of my exams. I knew I have to study, but it was like a trance or smth, when I realized I should leave the book and prepare for exams, but I couldn't do it. XD My parents then saved me. When I went out for some reason, they locked the book in the safe! Geez... without a book that was like a breaking or smth! XD
