Saw RotK again. It was even more beautiful and moving than the first time.

I am in love with Faramir.

Even if he didn't get nearly as much screentime as he should have.

In other news, much dorkiness in movies of late. Like I Robot. Even I don't remember what the 3 Laws are exactly. And The Butterfly Effect will never be more than obscure -- you hear of it, but might not be sure what it is. And then as we were leaving, I saw a poster for a movie called Torque. This amuses me greatly. Apparently it follows in the footsteps of such movies as XXX and The Fast and the Furious; the poster actually looks very cool and somewhat Matrix-y, with the dark grey and the metal and the black sunglasses. But . . . Torque. How many people even know what it means?

[I guess they could mean the other kind of torque. But neither seems to fit very well.]

Then again, this is all coming from someone who's thinking of titling her next never-to-be-finished story project "The Point at Infinity".

Anyways.

I can't wait for the RotK DVD to come out so I can watch it to my heart's content.

Yeah, Faramir is really cool. And kind of cute, too. One of the underrated men in the movie. I'm so shallow. ;)

Despite the general attractiveness of all the male leads, and specifically the hotness of Legolas (neither of which can be denied) I find that my heart is unaccountably stolen by Sam. I feel the irresistable urge to give him a hug. Pervy hobbit fancier, that's me.

Also: When I first read about "Torque" I thought it was going to prominently figure a metal choker of some kind. I guess I just don't get out enough.

*grin* Yay=) My buddy next to me at the movie was making fun of my swooning for Faramir and sighing for Sam =P (both during the movie and while I was waiting in line and rereading the books=P Hehe... watching me read Shelob's Lair, Houses of Healing, and the climb(crawl) up the side of Mount Doom must have been terribly amusing for her) Although, for some reason she seemed to like the Eowyn-Merry bits better *shrug* =P To each her own;o)
Anyway, there has got to be more screen time coming in the EE=D (Houses of Healing!! Whee=D)

There's another kind of torque?

The Point At Infinity? Oh boy, Lillian *poke* Please don't title it that, hehe=P Remember that I know where you live;o)

Get the RoTK screener and watch it to your heart's content now. Waiting is so overrated. It doesn't make it more special.

It does if you get extended scenes, with more Faramir. :)

*claps for one of the few people reading this LJ who would think of that "torque" before the one in physics*

I like Sam, too. But in the end I fall more for the noble and grand, like Faramir and Aragorn.

In number of fangirls, perhaps. People are just too shallow.
