mergle. I'm kind of tempted to just copy 5 and 6 from hers, but I guess I should try to be creative, too. ^^;;
Oh, I know...
...man, I think law school has taken over my brain. This kind of matching fact-patterns is just what laywers do.
ETA: I think all the answers are in the comments, now, but you're still welcome to guess without looking, and to tell me which ones you got right and/or which ones you thought were something else.

Oh, I know...

[And...] - A poor, no-nonsense schoolteacher in a magical world bearing many similarities to ancient China and with a bishounen for a guardian ends up in the imperial palace, where the emperor inevitably falls in love with her.
[And...] - Japanese schoolboy finds himself the Destined Something in a magical world bearing many similarities to medieval fantasy, where a bishounen becomes his fiancé(e?).
[Okay okay, I'll start being more original now. Maybe.] - Japanese schoolgirl is possessed by a ghost who gives her advice, and becomes one of the top in the world in her chosen endeavor, but ultimately loses to her international rival.

Date: 2006-11-12 07:47 am (UTC)Re: 7 - Kamui isn't a reincarnated anything. This one's actually pretty obscure. But... maybe Kamui's one of the other Japanese schoolboys on the list... :o
Re: 9 - If you think about it, "Alchemist seeks Philosopher's Stone" is actually a ridiculously generic plotline. I couldn't figure out how to balance being too general and being way too specific. But FMA isn't set in medieval Europe, and AFAIK the Philosopher's Stone doesn't exist in their world, and they definitely never had possession of it. But you should watch the series. ;P

Date: 2006-11-13 01:28 am (UTC)Do you think 6 is accurate? I thought I might have twisted it a bit too much to make it sound like 7. ^^;; Now, if I'd included Nazca... (But that show sucked. It just had pretty art and a cool opening.)
