Need to talk about trip to Europe as well as post some meme backlog from while I was gone, but in the meantime, I am sick. I've had a cough since we came down from Mt. Titlis in Switzerland, but it was a pretty ordinary thing and seemed to be going through the typical stages and on the verge of getting better when I got on the plane to LA. Then this morning I felt a lot more tired than I should have. When I got up for afternoon classes, I almost blacked out, and had to stagger to the lounge where I sat until my vision came back. Then I threw up in the sink. Feeling marginally better, I felt obliged to go to class, especially since Seinfeld tends to cover stuff in lecture that you can't find elsewhere. That was probably the sketchiest decision I have ever made. I almost blacked out again twice during that class. Afterwards, I drank some Powerade and nibbled on some saltine crackers -- which is not as easy as it sounds since my jaw muscle is inexplicably sore -- and I managed to get through Psy15 with little more than sleepiness and funny sensations from my stomach. This is about the end of my day, though. I hate to miss the first day of Glee Club, but sitting there trying not to faint is not really very productive.

My attempts to get things done seem to be cursed. I still have to finish my statement of purpose and grad school apps, and then I have to work on law school apps, although I think I can BS that statement of purpose more easily. And I need to catch up on the Ditch Day stuff that I was supposed to have done over break. And at some point I have to do some more thorough research for my senior thesis and then go talk to Flagan so I can actually start experiments.

This is not a good start to the term.
