Well, now that everyone is doing it...

Originally from mergle, you're supposed to put all of your MP3s on a playlist and then shuffle them and then write the first line from the first N for people to guess. Like half the people on my flist who've done this meme, most of my music is non-vocal. But I figure I have enough anime OP/ED singles and various other things that I should be okay.


I am not nice like other people, so no translations for the Japanese songs for you. :P

I skipped some songs that I have lying around on my HD but that I've never actually listened to, like when I download complete collections from Initial D or Ranma 1/2. ^^;;

Yup! I was expecting Kate to be the first one to get that -- mainly because she's made Glee Club-related comments in the past -- but I guess there's a reasonable number of WGC people who read this.

12 is correct. 19 is something only a few people would have guessed: a song we sang in Glee Club a few years ago.

But! There is one song whose title appears in the lyrics. I kept it because it wasn't blindingly obvious like most of them (like "Blind Game Again", or "Vater Unser").

I didn't know you knew the Fushigi Yuugi one. Also, I could stare at the lyrics to "Ai no Senshi" all I wanted and never get it. Those words just don't fit into the melody on their own, at least not in my head.

Was thinking you'd be the one to guess the Utada Hikaru songs, too, but I guess there are plenty of J-Pop fans on my flist.
