Watched Kimi ga Nozomu Eien 4. Suddenly the title became so much more clear. It's a very heavy drama; I think I'm watching it as a trainwreck. But it's nice.

Watched Avenger 1 and 2. I can totally see the Noir and .hack influences. As I was saying today during anime club, "It's got the 'so lost'-ness of .hack and the 'she kicks ass'-ness of Noir." It's good, though. The "so lost"-ness is really just that it feels sort of wandering, with a very apathetic seeming main character that shows random bursts of passion that you don't understand, and you know there's a bunch of really complicated stuff going on, and they hint just enough to keep you wondering without explaining anything, which I tend to find quite annoying, especially if it keeps going for half the series like .hack. But in general it looks very promising, as long as Leyla starts to show at least a bit of emotion. The OP and ED are both awesome. Yay for Ali Project.

So I think I've finalized my list of current anime:
* Kimi ga Nozomu Eien (KimiNozo)
* Live Action Sailor Moon
* Yami to Boushi to Hon no Tabibito
* Planetes
* Avenger
* Shingetsutan Tsukihime

All but the first are "watch and delete" series, though. Planetes and Yami Etc. are nice and fun to watch, but not something I'm going to revisit. My sister's taking care of Avenger and Tsukihime. And the Sailor Moon is somewhat of a trainwreck, so.

Actually Tsukihime is still kind of on probation. Arcueid is just so awesome, but Shiki might start to annoy me enough for me to drop the series.

So then there was showings. Hunter x Hunter is definitely getting more interesting, and I like Killua a whole lot more now. Go assassins. He's dark and cold-hearted like I didn't really expect anyone in the series to be.

We finished Yami no Matsuei, which is relieving, I guess. It was starting to go out of control. I hate Muraki even more now, but I think the last arc made more sense to me this time around, at least a little. I also was a lot more noticing of the TsuxTa, mmm. :D~~~ Next week: Kanon. I should probably just start bringing tissues.

KareKano is still awesome. It just feels so perfectly made.

In other news, two pieces of random dorkness that arose while we were working on ACM 95 last night:

"It's all fun and games until someone loses an i."

"In Soviet Russia, Rubik's Cube solves YOU."
