elwenI think I killed my FF8 game with respect to Triple Triad. I've spread too many rules, particularly to Dollet, and it's probably too late now to even try to get them abolished, especially since the Card Queen herself is in Dollet. -_-;; (I think the only rule I've seen elsewhere that it doesn't have is Sudden Death, and I don't know where to find that again.) No way I'm going to try to complete my collection with Random and Direct flying around.
And my most recent "clean" save is right after rescuing FH, which means I would have to go through all of those sidequests again.
Oh well, it was probably a lost cause anyway. (And just trying to abolish rules is a pain, especially since the game disc is a bit flaky.) Now I can focus on more important things. Like actually beating the game.
(The chances are rather close to zero that I'll ever play the game again, so this was my only chance. It's a lot more charming than I expected, and I actually kind of enjoy junctioning in a perverse, masochistic way, but there are just so many unplayed games, and more pressing games I need to replay, like the Arc trilogy.)
