I would randomly like to note that I get the following three kanji more mixed up than any other characters.

示　元　完

I don't know what it is about those two horizontal parallel lines, but apparently that is all my brain will process.

Fortunately, I don't usually have any confusion about what their compounds mean, since I don't really have any idea what the individual characters represent anyhow.

P.S. Bonus points for people who recognize the subject line.
