As to be expected, I suppose, the AX guests of honor put to shame any people Fanime could ever hope to get. I mean, some of these people I know by name, not just by the bolded anime titles in their descriptions. In particular, Maaya Sakamoto and Seki Tomokazu. Dude, Seki Tomokazu is probably my third favorite seiyuu, after only Okiayu Ryoutarou and Ishida Akira. And I know several people excited/jealous about KOTOKO. [I wanna know why KOTOKO's has a picture from Mahou Shoujo Tai by her desc. Maybe she did the ED. I can't remember.] There's also the character designer and animation director for a bunch of Sailor Moon series, but whatever.

Not that I'll necessarily go to these people's panels or signing sessions, but it's kind of exciting that they'll be there. [Maybe I'll go just to see Seki Tomokazu in person.] The one time I've been to a guest panel -- for the director (?) of Sailor Moon Stars, which is why I don't have many hopes for the other SM person -- it was kind of boring. And the guy was actually fairly personable, I thought. I've heard that a lot of the guests just don't deal with the whole panel setting very well.

But then, if this is the only time I ever go to AX, which it might, because it sounds more and more like Fanime is closer to my type of con, I should try to experience as much as I can and learn the hell of the big events.
