Dammit, do I need an umbrella or not?

I wish the weather would make up its mind as to whether it wants to be crisp and sunny or cold and rainy. I would more or less enjoy either, but it's really disorienting to step out of a lecture and find the sky and ground entirely different from how they were an hour ago. This attempt at having a season is out of character for somewhere that's hundreds of miles south of my home, where it would already be considered somewhat extreme. I fully expect it to be decisively spring by my birthday.
