Happy belated new year, everyone.

I've been desperately trying to get my move done these past couple days -- apparently I am very, very bad at this. How do people get all their stuff out of one place and into the other in one day? D:

Anyways, this weekend is more moving, and then work starts, and I don't have internet at the new place yet, so it may be a while before you hear from me again. (U-verse installation appointment is on Thursday. *crosses fingers against crappy wiring and other issues*)

This really is a new start kind of new year for me, which is exciting, but also very scary. Resolution is just to survive intact.

lol I told you you'd need help lol. People get their stuff moved in one day because they hire moving companies. Otherwise it is painful. Quite painful.

Best wishes with the moving. Moving is always painful - I'm dreading the day I really have to move out of the parents' house.

I don't think help would have . . . helped. It took so long mainly because I am indecisive and wandered through IKEA many times, and didn't sort through and pack my clothes early, or gather needed supplies together -- none of which goes particularly faster with more people. Then there was assembling furniture, but with the given amount of space, 2-3 people was about right for that, too.

But yeah, mostly settled in, now, though with random piles of un-put-away stuff and non-urgent furniture that's still in boxes.
