I tried to read New Moon and didn't pass the first chapter before mentally throwing it across the room. (It was a pdf so I couldn't do it physically. XP) And I'd managed to slog through all of Twilight before that, too. I keep thinking I should go back and read the thing so I can piss on the new movie, but 1) I think about that first chapter and lose all motivation and 2) I'm afraid it'll ruin my writing skills.
