I need a new paper journal soon. I also need to be more consistent about actually writing down the entries I compose in my head. My record is very skippy -- not that it matters, I suppose.

oo, paper journals. I love getting new paper journals, especially ones that look like books, with a bookmark ribbon and everything.

I saw a LotR-theme journal at Barnes and Noble - it was big and red and the title page said "There and Back Again." :) I was seriously thinking of getting it for you, but the sketches of the characters on random pages were really frightening (Legolas was SCARY - bad sign).

Yeah, I have a Hobbit journal with some pretty . . . interpretive sketches of the various characters. So spoiled by the artists that make everything dreamy and beautiful, or cute and rustic, like Howe and Nasmith.

But I don't like writing in book-bound journals: my handwriting dies as I get close to the spine. So I only use ring wirebound journals. I actually have at least two blank ones at home that were supposed to succeed the one I'm using now, but smart me, I brought neither to Tech with me. :(

Oh well, just means I have an excuse to go to Borders. :D

Blargh, I see my handwriting enough. Also, I tend to dislike writing such things down for I am paranoid of someone reading them. *shrugs* I'm weird like that.
