Darker than Black 10.
Okay, so I was somewhat off on how it went down, but still close.
Did the animators decide they hadn't been drawing enough twisted, bloody bodies lately or something? Suou, the anonymous Contractors Yin killed, and then Youko... [And it's obvious Hei didn't do that to Youko, right? But Youko wasn't a Contractor, was she, so it wasn't Yin either...? Too many things happening at once, gah.]
I have no idea what is going on anymore.
And, so is the current Pavlichenko the real one, and the one Hei killed a copy made by Shion, or the other way around?
With 2 episodes to go, I'm guessing the ending is going to be rushed and unsatisfying, kind of like the first season . . .
Oh! But we got to see Mao's human body! (I don't think they did that before?) That part was kind of cool. Totally contrived that his life has already intersected with Suou's family's so many times . . . or maybe not, I guess, if the idea is that they're all so deeply involved with the Syndicate and all. But still, came out of nowhere.
